I don't think the part where sam gets fired should be included

It Feels Like A Action Movie With Some Season 5 And Classic Throwbacks.
I Recommend It For Kids And Fans

This is undoubtedly the worst movie of Fireman Sam - worse than Alien Alert and Norman Price and Mystery in the Sky.
Like David Tennant, another "Doctor Who" star: John Barrowman guest stars in this movie. He voices Flex Dexter who's much villainous than Buck Douglas yet he's simply a villain viewers hate rather than love to hate. Also bringing the plot of Hollywood visiting to Pontypandy seems unnecessary - whole making a movie within a movie.
So many very much don't like Sam getting expulsed from the fire service for a safety measure he wasn't aware was sabotaged by Flex Dexter. It's genuinely heartbreaking much equally to Bronwyn and Sarah realise Lion was missing (unaware stuck in the well) from former episode. Surely, I'd thought Sam could've just got suspended pending inquiry or investigation into the incident.
I don't know much trivia points in this movie.
As for likeable or good parts of the movie - maybe it's funny when Derek does an acting role as his cousin Norman - I always see the grin on Hannah's face and her laugh to Derek's performance. Sarah pointed out that she was born five minutes before James - little out of character her calling him as younger brother and thinks he's unhelpful, yet James really did brilliant detective work with unedited clip of Dexter at the bus and recorded his confession which James passed onto Steele - this is one movie root for the young lad.

I understand why they have done what they have done but when you have granddaughters who live watching the show suddenly burst into tears because there hero character, (yes even at 3&5 years old) is not going to be a fireman anymore. I then have to spend ages trying to tell them that it's just a film and he will be a fireman again then I think you need to look at the wider picture there are probably thousands of people had the same problem. Yes I understand why it was made that way but come on its a small children's animated program. They don't understand sabotage and I don't really want to be explaining it to a 3yr old

My 4.5 year old son broke into tears after Sam had to quit being a fireman and shouted that he doesn't want to watch it anymore. Who in their right mind would write such a script for a movie for preschoolers? After this scene we had to make him sit to the end to see that everything turned out ok. But it hit him so hard that even when Sam was made a fireman again, he was very upset. Also the ending is VERY intense and really inappropriate for young children.
So if your kids love Sam then don't let them watch this.

Now This Is A Short Movie And Because It Is We Have Watched It A Lot Of Times And I Know A Lot About It. Flex Dexter Was Good In It And Don Sledgehammer Was Good In It. It Is Always Good To Introduce New Characters To T. V. Shows Or Movies. Norman And Elvis Are Really Good In It. They Are Both Really Funny. But I Feel Like Elvis Was A Tiny Bit More Quieter Than He Usually Is In The Show. Maybe In The Script They Should Have Him Saying More. I Feel Whoever Played Sam In Set For Action Should Actually Be An Action Star. He Looked Really Good Just Playing As Fireman Sam And That Is A Kid's Cartoon. I Recommend This Short Movie For Kids Four And Over.

I sat down to watch this with my daughter and continued watching when I put her down for the nap time. The melodrama of the story within the context of a children's cartoon was so funny. Stand out moments were the montage of Sam reflecting on his life in the fire department after being fired and the over the top rescue at the end made this a thoroughly enjoyable watch.

When my 3 year old Grandson watched this film he burst into tears when Fireman Sam was told that he couldn't be a fireman anymore. He was upset for the rest of the film. This is not a film for adults, its for toddlers and the makers should realise the affect that it has.
My Grandson loves Fireman Sam and would watch it all day but even after the film finished and Sam was re-instated it still left him unsure whether he would see Sam again. No matter how much we tried to explain that Sam would be ok, we couldn't placate him

Everyone loves the Sam series for it's easy storytelling with fun and always something to learn for the kids regarding safety issues. Also slow pace screens and time to focus on the scene. The movie has simply nothing of that. Very fast cuts, which 3-4 year childs never will be able to folllow completly. Filming incidents with the smartphone instead of helping? This will cause legal issues in real live. Firing of Sam has been the absolute no-go. Every child, if able to get the scene, is heartbroken. We is someone doing this to a young audience? Yes the following reflection of his live has been the strongest scene during the movie, but only adults got this. "Hollywood is coming"?? Not one child in the world gets this. Missed the audience completly.
Of course the movie has it's ups with big picture fire and rescue action. But if you go to it, and expecting the same as the series, you'll be disappointed.
