The initial version of the accident is dismissed when water is found in the lungs of the deceased. If he was killed, then who? The young investigator Anna suspects an outsider, her boss Mikhail Sergeyevich believes that the killer is someone from his own. During the investigation, to which Shatsky joins, wanting to justify himself, it turns out that many in this town had motives for murder.
