Nazi war propaganda that depicts the 'causes' of World War II from the German perspective. Shows us Churchill, Chamberlain, Halifax, and Eden as British leaders brought up in the code of 'gentleman.' Then demonstrates via foreign newsreel how 'gentleman' behave. Eden travels far and wide to try to get Indians, Egyptians, and others to fight Britain's war so as to save the gentleman's way of life. Meanwhile Brian has deserted France, her chief ally, pulling troops out of the continent. The British blow up French bridges and buildings and drop bombs on towns, not caring that they kill countless French people, create masses of refugees, and destroy hospitals, schools, and cultural treasures. In contrast, the German advance is pictured as liberation. German troops rebuild bridges, care for the wounded, and give people food and gasoline to help them return home. The French, says the film, are beginning to see that their hope is with Germany and not with 'gentleman.'
